Our round cakes range from 4 inch right up to 16 inch. Our square cakes range from 6 inch up to 12 inch.
This depends on the size of slice you would like to serve. A large slice, around 220g, is your standard cake slice and is ideal if you are only serving cake and not other desserts. Approximate size: 2 inch x 1 inch x 4 inch.
A small slice, around 110g, is half of the large slice and is what you traditionally see served at birthday parties, weddings and special occasions. Approximate size: 1 inch x 1 inch x 4 inch.
Round cakes are based on 4 layers of sponge, 2 layers of buttercream and 1 layer of sweet filling such as jam or lemon curd.
Square cakes are based on 3 layers of sponge, 1 layer of buttercream and 1 layer of sweet filling such as jam or lemon curd.
Note: All above sizes are approximate.
All of our cakes are suitable for vegetarians. Unfortunately, we are not currently making vegan cakes.
We can make cakes using gluten free flour and non dairy products, but please discuss this with us if you or any of your guests are highly sensitive to gluten based products or dairy.
Although we take great care with cross contamination, including thorough washing and rinsing of utensils and cake pans, we do prepare gluten and dairy based products in our kitchen and cannot guarantee cakes are 100% trace free.
If you or any of your guests are allergic to any ingredients, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss your options.
Please be aware that although ingredients such as nuts can be removed from cakes, they are still used in our kitchen, so we cannot guarantee any cake is completely trace free.
